California’s New Congressional District 2

California’s beautiful, new second Congressional district runs from the Golden Gate Bridge all the way to the Oregon border.

Raised in a rural, blue-collar coastal community of loggers and mill workers, and now a resident of Marin, Stacey Lawson has the life experiences that represent the broad diversity of this district. And as a small business owner and educator, Stacey is the only candidate who has created the kind of high-wage, middle-class jobs that this district needs.

The district was drawn by the California Citizens Redistricting Commission and includes portions of the current sixth district, now represented by Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey and the current first district, now represented by Congressman Mike Thompson. Congresswoman Woolsey is retiring and Congressman Thompson is a candidate for the newly drawn fifth Congressional district.
