As a respected leader in socially conscious community development, Stacey has developed programs which have brought food, shelter, education and medical services to underserved communities – here in the Bay Area and globally.  Her work has enabled hundreds of families to pull themselves out of poverty and into safe housing and quality jobs.

In Congress, Stacey will fight to protect a strong social safety net for working families.  She believes strongly in the need to protect and make more efficient our key social programs such as Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare.  She will also work to improve access to health care, promote preventative care and ensure the overall quality of health care for every American.
