Sonoma County Young Democrats Endorse Stacey Lawson for California’s 2nd Congressional District

Lawson’s reach in Sonoma County grows in campaign for California’s Second Congressional District

Educator and small business owner Stacey Lawson announced today the endorsement of the Sonoma County Young Democrats in her campaign for California’s Second Congressional District.

Kara Mills, vice-Chair of the Sonoma County Young Democrats and a resident of west Sonoma County in the Second Congressional District, said:

“Since 2008, youth graduating from college have been unable to find jobs in this tough economy. Many young people entering college do so with the risk of not ever being able to pay for the student debt that is ever increasing with the cost of an education. We need Stacey Lawson, an experienced small business owner and educator, to lead us to a brighter future. The Sonoma County Young Democrats are proud to endorse Stacey Lawson for Congress and encourage you to join with Stacey to fight for more jobs and a better education system.”

Lawson said:

“Young people are being left behind in this tough economy, and I am honored to work side-by-side with the Sonoma County Young Democrats to restore economic opportunity for their peers and all Californians.”

Lawson is the only candidate in the race for California’s Second Congressional District with real-world experience creating jobs and helping small businesses grow. Lawson, who co-founded and teaches at the Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology at UC Berkeley, started a company that created technology to help U.S. manufacturers compete in the global marketplace — and keep middle-class jobs in America.
