As we prepare for the three-day weekend celebrating Memorial Day, we have the opportunity to reflect on and honor the great men and women who have given their lives to ensure our freedoms – and to honor all of America’s veterans.

One of the most heartbreaking unemployment statistics today is the number of veterans who have returned from serving our country abroad to find a shrinking economy and no job to come home to. Nearly 29% of young veterans are jobless.

In this tough economy, one of the best ways to honor our veterans is to make sure they have access to good jobs that can send kids to school, buy a house or provide for a secure retirement.
