I join Stacey Lawson in urging Congress to support the Stop Violence Against Women Act today.

The time has come to stop playing political games with the health and safety of women and to start focusing on solving the critical issues facing American families today, like creating middle-class jobs and a sustainable economy that benefits everyone.

The 157 million women in this country deserve better. We all do.
